U-DECIDE AWARDS GRANTS TO COMMUNITY GROUPS

A total of £27,000 has been awarded to 19 local community groups following the recent U-Decide event.

Around 100 people from 24 groups listened to three-minute presentations from each group and then voted on which one they preferred.

Councillor Peter Arnold explains: "The meeting was told U-Decide had won an international award at the Euro Cities conference for its good work.

"Well done to everyone involved in U-Decide."
