Newcastle East Lib Dem spokesman Greg Stone will be appearing on BBC Radio Newcastle's breakfast programme tomorrow morning (Wednesday) at 8am discussing the anticipated Government announcement on high-speed rail.

Greg will stress the paramount importance of including Newcastle on plans for a high speed connection to London and to the Channel Tunnel, following concerns that the Government proposals may only include services between London, Birmingham, and Manchester.
