DECISION EXPECTED ON M46 SERVICE

A decision is expected before long on the timetable and route of M46 evening service.

A proposal has been made that it runs to the turning circle on Polwarth Drive then back out and through to Melbury using Brunton Lane.

The matter has now been complicated by the need of the Great Park Consortium to provide bus services to the houses being built near the future town centre.

Councillor John Shipley said: "We are pressing for a speedy resolution."
