:: Links Green play area

Following consultations with residents on Links Green, new updated play equipment will be installed at the existing three play areas.

This option was supported by a majority of residents.

:: Lincoln Green play area

Talks are taking place about how the play area at Lincoln Green could be improved.

Councillor John Shipley said: "We want to protect the the 'village green' while meeting the wishes of residents close by."

:: Diseased trees to be removed

The ganoderma virus, which has affected trees on the Grange Estate, has now infected trees on Linthorpe Road.

Five will need to be removed on public safety grounds. Replacement street trees are planned.

:: Residents to attend tree event

Residents attended a drop-in event held to discuss the tree replacement project for Kensington Avenue.

There are 18 trees to remove and 20 places for replacements. The flagged pavement will be 1.5m wide with a 1m parking verge.
