RESIDENTS FIGHT ALCOHOL LICENCE BID

The Westerhope Ward Lib Dem team is supporting residents in opposing a booze application at a store in Downend Road.

Local residents have signed a petition against the application.

Councillor Pat Hillicks explains: "There has been an application for a licence to sell alcohol, which is proving to be controversial.

"Many local residents have signed the petition against the application and this petition will be submitted to the council with the help of the Lib Dem team."
