WORK CARRIED OUT TO LOCAL ROAD JUNCTION

9.16.00am GMT Sun 1st Mar 2009

Work has been carried out to an important road junction in the centre of Kingston Park.

Engineers have replaced the traffic lights and changed the timing of the signals at the junction of Windsor Way and Brunton Lane.

Councillor Ian Graham says: "A pedestrian sequence has been added as well, which will make it much easier for residents to cross the road.

"Combined with the planned 20mph residential limits, these works should improve road safety locally."
