Mitzi Emery has won the Fenham by-election.

She becomes the third Lib Dem councillor in Fenham Ward - and the 50th in Newcastle.

Mitzi won the seat that became vacant following the death of long time Labour councillor Terry Cooney.

She joins Councillors PJ Morrissey and Colin Daglish in representing the ward.
