March for the Moor 21st August

August 7, 2016 3:41 PM
Your Liberal Democrat councillors invite residents to join them for a "March for the Moor" from 2pm on Sunday 21stAugust.
We'll be "beating the bounds" starting at Duke's Moor, then on to Little Moor, followed by a protest rally, as the Council's consultation process comes to a close.
Join us with your family, friends, bike, dog or banner and make your feelings known about the plans to grab a swathe of our "green lung" to make way for an enormous motor-way style roundabout on both of those areas.
What else can you do?
Post your comments (along with nearly 1000 others, mainly negative) at

These proposals have triggered a serious debate about the future of roads and movement in, out and around our city in the future, and about the value we place on our special environment in Newcastle. Do make your views and feelings known.
