Heaton Ward

Fiona Punchard 2021Local resident Fiona Punchard has been nominated to be the Heaton Liberal Democrats and Focus Team candidate for the elections on 5th May 2022

"I want to be your champion"

Fiona has been a Heaton resident for over 20 years - she lives in the heart of Heaton on Addycombe Terrace with her husband and cat. (Polo - was rescued from a VW of the same name) She knows the area well having studied at Newcastle University and works in communications for a children's charity. She says :

"I have an active interest in making Heaton a better place to live for the young, those working and raising families, those not so fortunate and the retired. I live and shop locally, have friends in the neighbourhood and love the vibrant community spirit of our area. Heaton needs a councillor who will challenge the Council, not be complicit in its current complacency. I'm standing for election to be a local champion for Heaton and to hold the council administration to account on behalf of all of us residents."

Please vote Punchard, Fiona - Liberal Democrats on 5th May

Under boundary changes, in May 2018 South Heaton and parts of North Heaton became the new Heaton Ward.
