The first steps

Liberal Democrat councillors will-

Build relationships with the people they represent. They will work hard to keep them informed, actively seek out their opinions, and act as problem solvers for the community.

Address the "can't do" approach of the council and investigate new ways to innovate and change. Scrutinise and try to improve all measures introduced by the Labour Party building on successful policies implemented elsewhere

Work to make sure that there is a fair distribution of funding and resources across the city. Using their expert knowledge to identify the needs that matter most in communities across the city

Work to increase the number of Liberal Democrat Councillors so that we can implement our vision for Newcastle.
