Grit Hunter's Road

The council removed Hunter's Road from the gritting schedule in 2015. This winter we have seen a number of problems including; cars having to be dug out of the ice and snow, and vehicles careering out of control down the bank into the roundabout junction at Haddricks Mill. We the undersigned being residents of Hunter's Road and surrounding streets call upon Newcastle City Council to add Hunter's Road back onto the regular gritting schedule. We consider this would be a huge improvement in the road safety of not only local residents, but also the many thousands of users of the Haddricks Mill Junction.
