PROTECT YOUR VOTE The past few years have seen more elections than ever. Because of the pandemic, elections have been postponed. At some point we will have to vote for City Councillors and the Police and Crime Commissioner. There's also an elected Mayor for the North of Tyne Combined Authority ( a 'metro-mayor') Quite a large number of people in Newcastle already vote by post - it's quick, easy and certain. If you do, there's no need to do anything. But if you'd like one, you'll need an application form. We can send one to you if you wish

ENVIRONMENTAL ACTIONS Our previous Environmental Survey identified a need for us to take action locally to help the global environment. This included improving recycling and reducing dependence on single use plastics; planting more trees in suitable areas to reduce CO2 emissions; improving air quality by introducing No Idle Zones around local schools.
