Community Pharmacy engagement

It was great to meet up with local community pharmacists Tony Schofield and Chris Dodd, at Molineux Pharmacy Byker, to learn about the needs of Pharmacies across Newcastle East and Wallsend, the city and our country.

Pharmacies are a really important first step for many of us to get the medical care we all need, and we need to ensure they are supported properly.

Here's a press release on the subject from earlier in the year describing the challenges to this critical sector with Lib Dem Deputy Leader and Health spokesperson Daisy Cooper MP saying: “With one hand the Conservatives are asking pharmacists to do more but with the other, they’ve cut millions of pounds of funding and overseen many closures.”
