North Jesmond By Election - Thursday 12 September

Peter Allen (pictured centre) has been working with the North Jesmond Focus Team for the last two years, helping to mastermind Gerry's re-election in 2023 when he was joined by Philip Browne (right), followed by James Cole's (left) election in May 2024. Peter was councillor for Walkergate between 2003 and 2012, and was parliamentary candidate for Newcastle North back in 1997.

We are expecting both the Labour Party and the Greens to target what was a very marginal seat until 2023 & 2024 - so we need as much help as possible. There are many ways in which you can help:

• Delivering leaflets and letters to electors
• Knocking on doors to speak to voters
• Folding letters and stuffing envelopes
• Sitting at a polling station on election day to collect polling numbers from voters
• Helping to remind electors to vote on polling day

Don't worry if you have not done any of these things before - there will be others who will be more than willing to show you what to do.

We will be canvassing most days, with deliveries across most weekends.
