FUTURE OF HOSPITAL SITE STILL UNCERTAIN

It is understood that Taylor Wimpey has withdrawn from a scheme to build flats and townhouses on the site of the former Sanderson Hospital, in

North Avenue, Salters Road and Brackenfield Road.

It is unlikely that any developer will look to build a similar development on the site for the foreseeable future and it is understood that health officials are considering alternative possibilities for development, including health care provision.
