GOSFORTH JUNIOR HIGH TO BE REBUILT

Gosforth Junior High is among four schools in Newcastle to be rebuilt.

The new look school will be on the existing site and is part of the city-wide Building Schools for the Future project.

Facilities include a new specialist visually-impaired student unit as well as a kitchen garden.

The other schools that are part of the second phase of the programme are St Mary's RC Comprehensive, Sir Charles Parsons Special School and Walker Technology College.
