Hazlerigg Memorial Hall

The City council has agreed to spend £40,000 of Children's Centre money on improving Hazlerigg Memorial Hall. The money will be used to install new windows, heating, a kitchen, updating toilets, decorating, improvements to the entrance and installing a security fence.

Councillor Anita Lower said

'This is wonderful news for the local community the work will make the building more accessible for young children and their families as well as the wider community, it shows the council's commitment to maintaining facilities in the village'
