::Redewood and Staplefood Close - adoption

The Lib Dem team is working with officers to get these estates adopted. There are difficult issues to resolve and it is taking longer than expected. The footpaths and street lighting were adopted in 2007.

A 'no entry' sign has recently been installed at the junction of Silver Lonnen and Silverhill Drive.

PJ, Colin and Mitzi have been in contact with secondary schools in the area with a view to starting a ward youth council.

:: Lanercost Drive - road safety

Council officers are to carry out a survey to see whether there is the need for a pedestrian crossing to be installed for local school children attending Stocksfield Avenue Primary School.

:: Two Ball Lonnen and Silver Lonnen - speed calming measures

The council is set to install traffic calming measures on both Two Ball Lonnen and Silver Lonnen as part of measures to reduce traffic speed.
