NEW HOMES SET FOR THROCKLEY

More than 80 family homes are to be built on empty land at The Leazes in Throckley.
A total of 36 of these properties will be owned by Leazes Homes and are due for completion in January 2011.
The remaining 45 home will be made available for private sale.
Meanwhile, nine two and three-bed houses will be built at Burt Terrace in Walbottle, which will be available for rent.
