Horse racing resumes at Newcastle racecourse on Monday. 4 days in the week. This means the whole estate (which is private property) is closed to strollers (adults and children), dog walkers and cyclists for the whole week, per the sign. There will be stewards at all entrances (including the less obvious ones) to turn unauthorised people away. The races likely to go worldwide - sending out a clear global message that Newcastle is back in business. So it's vital all goes smoothly.
