Coun Lawrence Hunter has asked the council to install yellow lines at the corner of Valley View and Combe Drive to allow better vision for motorists.

The council is investigating this request and we will get back to you with further news.

Meanwhile on Blanchland Avenue the gulleys have been lifted to the correct height after a request from the Focus team.

On the field at Quarry Road the graffiti along the boundary wall has been removed and work has been carried out by the council following problems with drainage.

A manhole cover on Moss Close has been repaired after Lawrence raised the safety issue with Northumbrian Water.

On Kielder Road there are new dropped kerbs and the lamppost stems have been installed on the Waggonway path.
