ROADS AND PAVEMENTS CASH BOOST

More of Fenham Ward's roads and pavements are to be resurfaced.

Included in this year's programme is the resurfacing of Lemington Gardens, Kirkheaton Place and Ancroft Place.

The pavements on Windermere Road, Buttermere Close and Tebay Drive are also being resurfaced. In addition the road on Tilmouth Gardens is being completely rebuilt and relayed.

Focus Editor Mitzi Emery says: "We intend to focus more on the east end of the ward next year and would welcome your suggestions to which roads we tackle."
