Kingsway Street party — Residents from Kingsway Avenue celebrate with a street party to mark the completion of the trees pilot scheme

A street party was held in September to celebrate the completion of the Kingsway Avenue trees project.

In a recent evaluation of the scheme for replacement street trees, residents gave it a 97% satisfaction rating.

Councillor John Shipley says: "Officers are now working on the possibilities for extending the scheme to adjacent streets."
