Not Good News for Great Park

The new Labour administration on the City Council has decided that the Great Park Advisory Committee will no longer meet. This was an excellent local committee that brought together Developers, the Environment Agency, Council Officers, Residents and Councillors to discuss issues and progress on the development of the Great Park.

As local members Councillor Anita Lower (Castle ward) and Councillor Lord Shipley (Parklands ward) will be having regular meetings to keep an eye on progress and an update report will be submitted to each ward committees by officers.
