Over 2000 protestors against Council's Blue House roundabout plans
The BBC is reporting over 2000 of us turned up to protest yesterday afternoon, and it's been on all their local news bulletins since then. See

There are a couple of simple things that can still be done, even though the Council's website response site is reported closed.
1. If you took pictures on the march, put on your social media, or repost any you spot on your own timeline
2. If you haven't already signed the online petition at
please do so and urge your friends to do so. With the paper signatures the number is now well over 1000 LOCAL people, and it will be presented to Newcastle City Council so they have to respond to it publically.
It's starting to sound like the Labour administration is backing down. But they haven't done so yet, and there's no guarantee that one of the 69 alternatives will be much better. So although we may well win this battle, the "war" is by no means over!
