Pauline wins again in Parklands

Councillor Pauline Allen was re-elected as one of the three Lib Dem councillors for Parklands on Thursday 2 May 2024.
Pauline topped the poll with 2,207 wotes - a majority of 1,208 votes over the Labour candidate. The Conservatives dropped into fourth place behind the Greens.
The turnout was 46.8%.
Speaking after the election, Pauline said: " Many thanks to the many voters in Parklands who once again put their trust in the Liberal Democrats Focus Team. It is great to be able to continue the record of fifty years of Focus Team service and action across the north of Gosforth, started back in 1974 by John Shipley."
