Rolling road closures in Newcastle on Saturday morning
Buses in Newcastle City Centre will be subject to delay on Saturday 21st April 2018 due to rolling road closures for the Fusiliers Parade 2018.
The Fusiliers will march from the Civic Centre to St Nicholas Cathedral where a service will be held. Following the service, the Fusiliers will return to the Civic Centre.
Parade 1 - Civic Centre to St. Nicholas' Cathedral - road closures between 09:45 and 10:45
Route via St Marys Place, John Dobson Street, Market Street, Grey Street, Mosley Street and St. Nicholas Street.
Parade 2 - St. Nicholas' Cathedral to Civic Centre - road closures between 11:45 and 12.45
Route via Groat Market, Bigg Market, Newgate Street, Blackett Street, Northumberland Street, Northumberland Road, John Dobson Street and St Marys Place.
In order to minimise impact on traffic these will be short term closures to facilitate the parade, with the roads opening as soon as it is safe to do so after the parade has passed.
