Savings with solar power

A new project to put solar panels on 300 of Your Homes Newcastle houses could benefit tenants and lead to savings on energy bills. 8 Wards across the City are involved in the pilot, and a total of 48 houses on 9 different streets in Lemington will take part in the scheme.
Cllr Lawrence Hunter said " This is a pilot project which I hope will be successful. I will be pushing for it to be extended to more homes in Lemington so that people can benefit from the new technology and save money. Lib Dems are committed to a sustainable future for the City."
