The temporary reprieve means Labour party won't cut funding for 2016/17 to give CAB time to work out an alternative. The future is still very uncertain but at least they have some more time to prepare.

"The Citizens Advice Bureau provides an invaluable service to a large number of people in Newcastle, in an extremely cost effective manner, " commented Cllr Wendy Taylor,Deputy Leader of the LIberal Democrat Group on Newcastle City Council, who took Tim on the visit to the CAB. "It is an excellent model of home local authority, professionals and volunteers acn work together for the public good."
