After Ed Miliband outlined plans to outlaw the majority of zero-hours contracts it emerged that the council in his Doncaster constituency employs hundreds of staff on zero-hours deals. In addition, it was revealed that some 22,000 zero-hours contracts have been handed out by Labour-run councils.
