Work starts on Blakelaw Deck Access Site

Work has started on 98 new dwellings on the former Blakelaw Deck Access Site of which the first phase is the 41 units to be transferred to Your Homes Newcastle for rent or sale. A "local preference" will be given to applicants for rented properties who live in the "Blakelaw Housing Area" except for the two bungalows that are designed for wheelchairs.
Applicants for other bungalows should also be over 60 and under occupying their existing property.
